Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Ahmad Hassan, founder of GymWithMind.com, your guide to building muscle naturally as a skinny beginner.
Just a few years ago, I was exactly where many guys are right now:
Underweight
Low confidence
No clue how to train or eat properly
Through trial, mistakes, and persistence… everything changed.
Today, I’m here to share what really works, so other skinny guys can transform faster and smarter than I did.

From Skinny to Muscular Journey
I started my journey in Pakistan and my weight was only 51 kg. I was able to achieve 64 kg after approximately more than a year of training. The gains were not that significant, but they gave me the lesson of how important it is to be consistent and eat well. It was a hard phase: how to find the right form, how many calories to eat and how to discipline oneself without mentorship

The Break and Challenges
I took up a second year in China. Life now was different, new culture, food and duties. I was forced to juggle between classes, minor employment and online work like freelancing to meet living expenses. It was in this stage that I stopped training for like 3-5 months, and I lost most of the gains I had attained. That time taught me the most important thing to be consistent in fitness.
Restart in China
When I restarted training in China, I approached it with a proper mindset. I tracked calories, focused on high-protein meals, and followed a push, pull, legs routine consistently. In just 8 months, I went from rebuilding my lost strength to reaching 65 kg at around 7–8% body fat. Today, I have visible abs, stronger chest and arms, and better muscle definition overall.

My Goal Ahead
I’m working toward 70–72 kg while keeping a lean, aesthetic shape.
Weak points I’m growing:
Shoulders
Back thickness
Leg size and symmetry
This journey isn’t just physical — it builds identity.
Is it possible to go from skinny to muscular?
Yes, with strength training, enough calories, and patience, it’s possible for any skinny beginner.
How long did it take you?
Visible changes came in 4–6 months, but my current shredded look took about 8 months of serious training.
What diet do you follow?
High-protein meals (150–160 g protein/day), calorie surplus, balanced with carbs and fats.
Do you use supplements?
I focus on food first, but I use whey protein and creatine to meet nutrition goals.
What’s your next target?
To reach 70–72 kg lean and aesthetic, while helping others do the same.
My Story in My Own Words
I didn’t grow up athletic. I went through:
Surgery recovery
Extreme weight loss to 49 kg
Being called “stick man”
Struggling to afford protein
But I refused to let that define me.
Fitness rebuilt my confidence, discipline, and mindset. After about a year of lifting, with limited food and zero knowledge, I reached 64 kg.
The progress wasn’t perfect, but it taught me:
